Granny Fricket's Thicket

My first trial batch of these is done. They are a hit with my herd and they are a win for the doggos that tried them yesterday.

I’ve been digging in to how to get a business off the ground. I’ve decided that this is totally doable and I’m starting to push forward on how to do it and what to do about the whole thing. If I set myself up as a cottage bakery, I don’t have to get rid of my dogs, but I can’t sell outside of Ohio (at least until I get more information). I know that there are places in Western PA I would love to set up a stall at, but I’m not sure that that is possible from the get go. More research is needed.

So… The cornerstones of Granny Fricket’s Thicket begin with Granny Fricket’s Fatty Girl Cookies.

This batch is peanut butter pumpkin.

Ingredients…
Pumpkin Puree
peanut butter
— peanuts
— sugar
— vegitable oil
— cottonseed oil
— soybean oil
— rapeseed oil
— dextrose
— salt
— molasses
— monoglycerides
whole wheat flour
water

Not that I know I can put in a batch in the morning and still be able to put in a day’s work at work, I can start trying my hand at other recipes.

I will need to finish setting up social media…
start looking into brick and mortar stores at some point
start pulling together soap recipes for Monkey Butt to try his hand on

It’s funny how things happen in life.. God winks…. karma… the path you are supposed to be on… One step at a time… one breath at a time…

If anyone would be interested in taste testing, I can figure out how to ship a sample. I’m hoping to give some samples away at Pagan Pride in Bedford Ohio at the end of August
